that doesn’t make sense. as i said, the average age for first menstruation hasn’t changed and is still approx 12.5years. there is some evidence from limited studies of a lower age for outwardly signs of puberty and this has been correlated with high bmi. i’ve never weighed close to 120lbs, i still started my period of at the same age as most girls.
