yeah maaaaan it got shut down....good thing i didnt leave the state...i felt bad for those people who made that trip just to be sent back....good news is they are going to have it on eid... bad news... i dont think a lot of people will wanna go to 6flags on eid....meanin less single folks...and alot more families...

it wasn't that bad...they ofcourse refunded the tickets and yea insh'Allah it'll be on eid...it was cool though, we had the jummah prayer and the khutbah also and the shalimar gave away their food free...so it was pretty crowded at their side :p

So what happens at six Flags on this particular day? An Islamic day? IS it closed for non-muslims that day? anyone knows the details? Is it still going to be in NJ for Eid??

Larki, yes it will still be in Six Flags NJ, now on EId Day. Badically its a way to get the youth together in a fun atmosphere..where they also HOPEFULLY make time out for various speakers spekaing on range of topics. Of course a lot of the kids just hang out and try to hook up..but still, hopefully they will even take in one speech they have learned something. Also various food stalls and tables selling islamic books and the sort. Its pretty good, but i heard the ark will be closed to outsiders this time around.

lol.....from wat i remember the last time i went...it was open to the public...and tickets booth for muslims was cheaper....but this years...im not sure, im gettin in free.....well i was gettin in free....yeah i heard its gonna be on eid...find out from icna....i think they are the organizers..

it's open for everyone...we go every year and u see alot of non muslims also but not as many as you would see on regular days...it's pretty cool, most of the rides are packed though so u'd rather stick to the lectures :D
and yea so far they've said it'll be on eid insh'Allah
