Not in the middle east. In the mideast, they usually have 8 rakaats, with a few verses read at a slow speed. I know that in haram and masjid-e-nabvi, they have 20 rakaats, which I believe are done in 2 sets of 10 each, primarily to accomodate the enormous number of people there.
