It doesn’t go against Sunnah either. Unless you can provide any hadith saying that it would be wrong. I’ve been participating in it for a while and I can confidently say that it has nothing to do with fame.

I didn’t said it is against the Sunnah and if one read in such way then there is no harm. But if it made as a practice with many followers then I guess it is fall under the category of Innovation and every Innovation is wrong.
