try giving him some steam....do you use a humidifier in his room? They have the liquid vicks that u can put few drops in humidifier, that should help. Be careful with Vicks, do NOT put any on his nose or anywhere near his face. I recently read an article on Babycenter.com how Vicks can be used unsafely and cause some breathing issues.
Or just run the shower super hot for like 10-15 minutes, the bathroom should steam up....just hold rayan in the bathroom for a few minutes so he can easily take in the steam like that.
