Windies with the series victory has increased their points from 90 to 98, however their position is still the same in ICC ODI table i.e. #8

India dented really badly with the series defeat. They have fallen from # 3 to # 5. Their points have fallen from 116 to 111.

Yes it was a fixed series just like every series. India England series was also fixed. Flintoff and his squad lost the series intentionally
Infact the Ashes last year was also fixed.

great wins by WI. apart from the losses themselves, the only thing that really bugs me is that they all came right down to the wire, if not the last ball itself. the sting is always greater in nailbiters than in blow out victories.

i think a wake-up call like this was needed at some time before the world cup, but this is much earlier than i had hoped....as nearly a full year is still ahead before the WC.
