I know it is a big gamble but I would make Umar Akmal captain of the ODI team
A batting line-up comprising
Ahmed Shehzad
Sharjeel Khan or Nasir Jamshed (struggling at present)
Fawad Alam
Umar Akmal (c)
Sohaib Maqsood
Haris Sohail or Umar Amin (seems over-rated at present, perhaps needs to go back and spend more time in domestic cricket)
Rizwan (wk) - can bat, will take pressure off UA
might perform better than the current pathetic seniors
What has he done to deserve that? Disappointing throughout this series and one before this. I don't think he has shown any leadership qualities.

I love your thinking do you seriously think that PCB is forward thinking like this? We should get all young blood and lets lose with them, if we are going to lose anyways. They'll learn from the experience at least. This bunch of losers are useless. Enough of Misbah, Hafeez & Afridi. Sohail Tanvir with the new ball in 5 ODIs, what did he do? I think the Pakistani batting situation is so desperate that the PCB should ask the Taliban to give our batsmen drills to develop mental toughness. But even the Taliban might turn around and say thanks but no thanks, your batsmen are more suicidal than us!

Misbah shouldn't be dropped for one bad series when he has been consistent all year. Misbah waited and waited for his chance when Inzamam, Younis and Mohammed Yousef kept him out of the side for years, he now deserves a swansong at the World Cup.

Yesterday's match review by Shoaib akhtar and MoYo was very interesting.
Moyo informed about the incident when saeed anwar was whacking the aussie bolwers and commentators were saying to the young kids that this is not the correct way of batting in test matches.

This team or rather its performance is a reflexion of the state of Pakistan
PPL turn up the sheer hope things would get better but instead they see a chain of events they've seen zillion times before and the path is all to similar
FOLKS It's the state of Mind, the constant denial (that something's seriously wrong here) that's hurting and will continue :(

Yeah I know it's not going to happen esp. when you have corrupt, khushamadi chamchey like Najam Sethi at the helm of PCB
