He is a very good fielder too. This inning was really top class. In spite of Clogger Dhoni, Pandey ji won the game with his calm and effective batting.

At worst they should have lost the series 3-2
How can you lose a game from a position of 277/1 chasing 348? (4th ODI)

^ Dhoni admitted that it was because of him that INdian team collapsed. he played recklessly. Had he stayed, India might have won.
even yesterday, he blocked so many balls. he is NOT the same Dhoni he used to be just a year ago...he can NOT single handedly win pressure games at the end. however, his FOUR and a SIX in the 48th over made it possible and easier for Manish Pandey to win for India in the last over.

^ no one asked him to singe handedly win pressure games. We just don't want him to single handedly put India in a losing position feom a sure victory as in 5th match. Thanks go Manish india won. Though Dhoni did his best to lose.
Consider he was dropped at 7. A sitter. Else his contribution wouod have been 7 off 22. He also survived an lbw shout that showed he was out.
Dhoni put himself on a pedestal after 4th ODI. Implying he is the one to absorb pressure. All he is good for is absorbing dot balls.

^ exactly...he has to change with time...but, he is not absolutely to be blamed. he has done just that on numerous occasions and he is very confident about it. he could not trust Jadeja or Gurkareet to do the job.
i think he will change in the next series. i'm sure he's realized that he is not as powerful a hitter and a finisher as he used to be...give him a break!

FURTHERMORE MATCH HE CAME IN WITH HARDLY ANY TIME TO SETTLE. SECOND MATCH HE FAILED. THIRDS HE DIDN'T FA E A BALL. JOB OF CAPTAIN IS TO TRUST HIS OOAYERS. AND NOT CONSIDER HIMSELF SUOERMAN. to do the job.

Bumrah apparently bowled some good yorkers again. Bowled Faulkner. Ashwin and Jadeja did well. Maybe dropping Ashwin after one or two odi not best idea. Kohli and Sharma ji batted well.
Credit where due. Dhoni 11 off 3 balls was great.
Didn't watch match though.
