People are impatient especially regarding loadshedding and inflation and I don't see any short term solution for both. He needs to repay 5 billion dollars (of loan) and needs 900 billion rupees to pay back the circular debt. Other wise the government will keep on paying a portion of the amount and the load shedding will continue. For catering immediate needs he might need to contact external financial institutions for a bail out which would come with stringent conditions which would further increase the inflation. Lets see how PMLN and the people (at large) handle this.

I don't think PM and CM (Punjab) will be anyone other than Elder/Younger bro, no hope about changing that. CMship i can tolerate provided that a lot of people actually want Shehbaz to be CM Punjab, but Nawaz Sharif, as PM? not a good choice i must say.
And i think they might perform "comparatively" better than PPP in SHORT TERM, quick economic and finance gimmicks (eg: let go huge expense areas of govt departments, bring in investment from china/turkey, beg Arab "friends" to give them fuel on deferred payments) some can be good, others will only be a show piece to put some water on boiling expectations immediately
lets see, i just pray whatever happens is good for our country (even PMLN performing terrible will be good in a way that they will be rooted soon and will not return to power) also i pray may ALLAH make them perform better, we never know whats gonna happen next, hoping for better future of Pakistan, no matter whoever delivers it for us.

Loadshedding begins after the elections. We know the reasons for this but it would be difficult to explain this to the rural voters who believe that PMLN has some magic wand to alleviate their issues overnight.:@:

One thing that shahbaz sharif has been touting as his success story is elimination of dengue from the province which could bite him, as my brother who is a doctor believe that it's expected that there would be worse dengue epidemic in the province this year as the mosquitoes have a certain life cycle, and they reappear usually after 2-3 years worse than before.

another reason of dengue being not too much wide spread last year was early prevention, which started as early as april last year. but this time, it has not been done due to caretaker + election season. tough time ahead, they need to start working immediately, the more we delay govt, the more our sufferings will increase.

not really. His party has absolute majority in the National Assembly, doesn't have to worry about appeasing coalition partners etc. He will do a better job perhaps on the economic front. might initiate a few good projects here and there but by and large he will just do his own thing without worrying about others as he has a clear mandate from the people. Barring panga with the military or judiciary (both unlikely) he should see out his term
