Another terrible act of terrorism targeted at Shia’s, but which has also cost the lives of Sunni’s. President Musharraf is correct to say that while we suffer from external threats, the greater danger is from within i.e. that of sectarian hatred that must be eradicated at all costs.
All the injured and four of the dead were Shias, while two – bus driver Raza Ali and Pakistan Army’s Mohammad Rafiq – were Sunnis. “Four men were killed immediately, another on the way to a hospital while the sixth man died at the Karachi Civil Hospital,” head of Karachi Police’s Operations Wing, Deputy Inspector General Tariq Jameel told Daily Times. He said it appeared to be a sectarian killing.
