It was a quick an hour show, on a lower scale budget, comparing to LA or Santa Monica, back in California.
So far best firework was in Pakistan Independence Day Festival held last year in USC, let see what LA brings this year.

Yea the quality of these pictures sucks cuz I froze them out of a movie I made of the “grand finale” of the 4th of July fireworks show. Pretty colors, tho :love:

great work YKKB.. i wish the ones over here lasted long.. they are a 20minute affair.. and i could only catch like half of it..
those stills are quite good phatima1.. i saw a couple of guys with heavy duty video cameras there.. i guess it's smarter catching all the action on video and then go back pick frames where u capture the best bursts..

We watched the fireworks in San Francisco this time and they were pretty good. I was thinking of taking some pictures, but then decided to just watch them and enjoy, figuring some of you photography buffs will be taking better pictures anyway. All fireworks start to look the same after a while. The accompanying music in SF was pretty good though.
In '03 we watched the fireworks in San Jose. In '04, it was Coronado in San Diego. But I think '05 in SF were better than those two.
