4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

afridi said it was his fault in a post match interview (referring to his incident with gambhir)...said he was pissed at fielders giving 2s instead of 1s and misfielding and took his anger out on gambhir and said he apologized to gambhir afterwards

from tv, it looked like it was gambhir was the culprit (and definitely was his fault for that physical contact)...but judging from afridis comments, he must have said something before all that

anyways good to see him being cool about it

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

ahem. someone has edited my opening post. so even if there was such a jinx it is now reversed and so India will win.

ha ha ha ha!

chalo bahi Pakistan will surrender cup to India in advance

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

But compare it to the Indian team.

Afridi and Imran Nazir are more reckless and less trustworthy than Uthappa and Dhoni. Malik is out of form, on the other hand Yuvraj is in form.
Again Tendulkar and Gangu are as consistent as Yoyo and Moyo and play fast also.

In fast bowling department, i agree Pakistan team is better but spinners have fared poorly.

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

Looking forward to : I hope we win the next two matches. It will require intense determination and Team work instead of it being a " One man show".

Not looking forward to : Biased Indian commentary that is always bigging up India's performance ONLY. Biased crowd and off course spiritless Indian team specially Dhoni.

I would like to see more neutral commentary from Indian commentators (if thats what they are) . What doy uo all think?

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

R u kidding me?

Just go watch the video and you'll know

Only reason he apologized is. to preempt being assbanned again. just be glad Gambir and Indian team is not filing complaint and letting him escape with an apology.

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

SOme1, I agree with you totally. This is something I can't understand myself. But I suppose It's more the lack of consistancy within the team and team performance, than anything else. This time I have listed above Is (in my eyes) the best Pak team ever. I'm pretty sure hardly anyone will agree on this. But right now we have everything needed to win ODI's in ease, but failed to do so coz of inconsistancy.

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

Just heard on TV news that Shiv Sena has threatened to dig up the pitch if the match is not cancelled. :smack:

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

^Shiv Sena is a party of ch*t*aas and morons.

They ranshacked some Internet Cafes in Mumbai recently because somebody somewhere in the world created a community called "Shiv Sens sucks" (or something on those lines) on Orkut. They have a brain of 2 -year olds.

These buggers are cowards really....can't do anything braver tha digging up pitches...which, btw, they will do so at their own political peril....considering most Indians would like nothing better than an India-Pakistan contest...esp in these times when there is not as much anti-Pakistan sentiments in India as before.

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

They were unable to go ahead with their threatened action during our last trip in 2005 and I think the Indian authorities know how to deal with these goons by now. so I anticipate no real problems from their side.

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

GEO news reported this as well and along that they stated if it had been in Pakistan and any religious party had made this kind of statement it would have been in the news ALL OVER THE WORLD but when its some where else the WORLD does not know anything.

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

Well if they posed a real threat then everyone would know..
but they are teethless tigers... even Indian media dont take them seriously...

Re: 4th ODI: India vs Pakistan - Gwalior Nov 15th at -09:00 GMT (14:30 IST)

I don't see that Shiv Sena news in any Indian online news site.

All the places I have read the news have quoted Pak's Geo News as the source.

There does not seem to be much to that story.

Have you guys seen the pics of Shoaib Akhtar and some Indian players visiting a private school (Scindhia School) in Gwalior at Cricinfo. Pretty interesting pictures, I must say.

Akmal to face fitness test before fourth India ODI

GWALIOR, India (Reuters) - Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal will undergo a fitness test to assess his finger injury before Thursday’s fourth one-dayer against India, skipper Shoaib Malik said.

Akmal aggravated the injury during Monday’s third game, which India won to lead the five-match series 2-1. Uncapped stumper Sarfraz Ahmed has been called up as standby.

“We will have a fitness test and then we will decide,” Malik told a news conference on Wednesday.

Akmal, who has struggled with the bat, dropped a catch off the very first delivery in the third one-dayer in Kanpur and India piled up 294 runs before going on to win by 46 runs.
