Its not as if a "neutral umpire" never commits a mistake. Gould basically gifted you the Mohali match.
BTW, Hawkeye confirmed that Afridi was indeed LBW.
As Rameez said, its just that when the batsman is stretching forward, it usually takes a brave umpire to make an LBW call...because it can be difficult to tell if the ball would hit the stump.
