What democracy? Bush gets selected by a bunch of neocon judges, and you call that democracy. Actually, democracy existed in Pakistan much earlier than it did in any part of the Western world. In ancient India democracy arose spontaneously and independently even before the Greeks developed a limited democracy (restricted to free males). Pakistan had democratic tribal nations at a time when your ancestors were cannibalising each other. So don’t go giving us a lecture on democracy.

I wasn't defending the democratic history of Pakistan, but ancient Pakistan, being part of ancient India, developed democracy way before the Greeks. Even then the Greeks are actually an Asian people, though they're wannabe europeans. Europeans and their descendants never acknowledge their debts to the east: paper, writing, religion, gunpowder.

US/UK are trying to justify all the killings in Iraq and other occupied areas. With the same behaviour they are also trying to get the masses into submission through a justified military terrorism of their own. How is the occupying force any different from the Saddams and the Taliban.

9/11 was an act of terroism. Afghanistan and Iraq are acts of occupation, mass murder and genocide. No one defends 9/11 but its a shame that US and UK justify the killing of over a 100,000 just by saying that they have a right to do so. ..And the world stands silent.

so the Taliban carried out 9/11? i thought it was this loosely controlled multinational entity called al-qayda which took responsibility and not much happened out of Afghanistan anyway.. as the organization is purported to be without borders and ironically has no base..
