3rd test

Re: 3rd test

The way both shehzad and younus got out, i cant believe they are still in a professional cricket team :smack: where is there circketing IQ?

Re: 3rd test

shehzad needs to be sent to domestic cricket. younis has hardly performed when Pakistan needed runs. his run came only when everybody scoring runs. i wonder he is even called a man of crisis.

Re: 3rd test

162 for 7 . If it was not for sarfraz innings. We wud have been below 100

Re: 3rd test

From the effect sl pacers our pacers looks ordinary

Re: 3rd test

Pak 178/7

Re: 3rd test

Now a days Misbah is also in their foot steps

Re: 3rd test

A good partnership comes into end

Partnership: 45 runs, 11.0 overs, RR: 4.09 (Yasir Shah 18, Sarfraz Ahmed 26)

Pak 197/8

Pakistani pacers should learn from Parsad

56.5
Prasad to Yasir Shah, OUT, has he nicked it? Umpire Gould thinks the edge was there, but the soft signal to the third umpire is it has bounced. It was a fuller delivery, pulling Yasir to play away from the body. It seems a foregone conclusion that the outside edge had been taken. No one's bothering to check that. And the magnifier shows the catch has been taken cleanly by Chandimal diving forward
Yasir Shah c †Chandimal b Prasad 18 (37b 1x4 0x6) SR: 48.64

Re: 3rd test

I don’t know why Sarfraz taking singles here …anyway 200 up

Re: 3rd test

me tooo. kia sarfraz bhi wrong no bun gaya hey

Re: 3rd test

n rain stopped the match,
Yasir was batting very positive. lets hope we reduce the deficit as much as possible.

Re: 3rd test

Once again spineless batsmen spoiled all the good work of the bowlers in dismissing Lanka for 278.

Instead of taking a vital first innings lead and taking control of the game, Pak are now in grave danger of losing the match and the series.

I won't count on our batsmen chasing down anything over 200 to win in the 4th innings

Advantage Lanka

Re: 3rd test

Misbah, based on his scoring rate, only takes one foot step at a time.

Re: 3rd test

Misbah .. you say…which match are we watching…
:aaho:

Re: 3rd test

Advantage SL. Lets hope Sarfraz can dent the lead a bit more to something like 50 runs. Overall a pathetic batting display but than what is new. A seasoned player like Younis commits suicidal run out right at the stroke of lunch. Says ti all.

Re: 3rd test

Younis has had a poor series by his standards.

Whatever ‘goals’ Younis Khan: ‘I will walk away myself, but I still have some goals in my mind’ | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo he has in mind (I think we all know that, going past Miandad’s 8832 test runs, becoming first Pak batsman to score 30 plus test hundreds and 9,000 plus possibly 10,000 test runs) at almost 38 years of age ‘officially’, Younis cannot take his place in the team for granted.

Being under 30 and not performing and being 35 plus and not performing are two very different things in cricket.

Selectors and media can be very ruthless at times. Younis must remember Chanderpaul’s example who was unceremoniously sacked by WICB after a series of low scores effectively ending his test career. Even his record of almost 12,000 test runs at an average of 51 plus could not save him from the axe. WI got thrashed in both tests by Australia but it is unlikely that Windies selectors would recall Chanderpaul now.

I do not agree with such knee-jerk reactions but there are already calls for Younis and Misbah to retire by none other than Asif Iqbal

Re: 3rd test

Nothing good is expected of this batting lineup.

Imagine hockey team not going to Olympics and cricket team on the verge of missing champions trophy.

Re: 3rd test

Koi baat nahin metro hai na.

Re: 3rd test

Pakistan were all out for 215 giving SL a lead of 63 runs but Pakistan has struck back well and have taken 3 SL wickets for 35 runs. Effectively 98 for 3. Hope they can contain them below 200/250.

Re: 3rd test

Azhar Alis googly and long hop will make it 5 down soon.

Re: 3rd test

SL 48/3

Lets bring yasir :joel:
