Tendulkar ruled out of one-day series

- Sachin Tendulkar has been rested from the one-day series against England because of a shoulder injury. He will undergo surgery in London and is expected to be out of action for at least eight weeks.
- Munaf Patel was included in the squad for the first three ODIs after an impressive showing in the Tests against England while Venugopal Rao has been recalled after missing the tour of Pakistan.*
It doesn’t seem like it is anything but the injury.

On another note, one of the main strike bowlers Steve Harmison is ruled out of the ODI series due to a shin injury.

I don't know if it is the shoulder which needs rest or its tendi himself.

I think Dhoni's missing very easy stumping chance of Flintoff off Harbhajan(when Flintoff had barely scored 10 runs) may prove to be decisive in the end.
Had Flintoff's wicket gone down at that stage...India might very well have got England out for less than 150.....reducing the target by about 50 runs.

That is absolutely correct.
Also, we unnecessarily lost the wicket of one of our main bastman - Pathan by sending him as the opener....it would have been better if we had lost Sehwag instead(who is anyway expected to gift his wicket - aaj nahi to kal ) .

I thought England had injury worries, with Mr. Sehwag's back spasm and Mr. Tendulkar's shoulder....
