- โMunaf gets the first warning for running on the danger areaโ
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
^Umpire Hair is an arsehole...He thinks this is an ODI match...He declared a WIDE to one of Munaf's bouncer that just sailed over Flintoff's shoulders. Even so, it should have been the Leg Umpire's call.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
Wrong thread.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
101.6 Patel to Flintoff, SIX!!, short ball and Flintoff pulls it, Pathan gets underneath it at fine leg, but unfortunately has to go back and step over the ropes in an effort to nab it
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
don's optimism
england scores @ 450/10
India bats for two days and at the end of day for india 650+/#
lead @ 200
england 2nd inngs all down for 199
india wins by a inng and 1 runs
congratulations .......
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
The only thing Munaf Patel is short of is luck and blahdy damned luck.
Very impressed with his bowling.
Pathan's bowling looking innocuous in comparison.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
- "patel got second warning"
Some1 Bhai, is it the same case as before? Is Hair having a field day today?
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
I think England's batting can hardly be called high quality.
They have survived mostly through luck and poor Indian fielding.
Flintoff has been dropped twice and caught once just outside the boundary line.
Collingwood was plumb LBW but there was no appeal from the bowler...inexplicable.
Everything that could have gone wrong for India...has gone wrong.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai

Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
108.1 Sreesanth to Collingwood, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Sreesanth to Collingwood, **out** Caught by Dhoni!! finally the breakthrough as India was going into a situation of desperation, good length outside off and some away swing, induces the edge from Collingwood and this time Dhoni makes no mistake as he collects it neatly
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
109.2 Kumble to Flintoff, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
112.1 Sreesanth to Geraint Jones, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Sreesanth to Geraint Jones, **out** Caught by Kumble!! good length outside off and away swing, Geraint Jones doesnt quite read it right, drives and the outside edge flies to gully, straight to Kumble.
SreeSanth picks up his 4th.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
Sreesanth has not really bowled as well as his statistics suggest.
At least 3 of his 4 wickets were really gifted to him by the batsmen.
And there is Munaf...who bowled his butt out...and does not have even one wicket to show for it.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
PLUMB LBW to Udal not given.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
Patel finally got one in his name.
118.5 Patel to Udal, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!
Patel to Udal, **out** Lbw!! just what the captain wanted him to do, inswinging delivery, it was not yorker length, it pitched slightly fuller than good length and swung it and kept a tad low, Udal looked to turn it towards the onside and was trapped, umpire Taufel took his time but that was plumb
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
118.6 Patel to Hoggard, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
Patel to Hoggard, **out** Bowled!! what a delivery, a searing inswinging yorker, that would have cleaned up any top order batsman and for the first time in two matches, Patel demonstrates great joy after taking the wicket
Patel on Hat-Trick.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
As a couple pointed out:
*- "Atlast we have a bowler.. who can smash the tail.."
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
Munaf Patel is a good bowler like his effective yorkers.
Owais is a way good batsman.
Re: 3rd Test , India vs England @ Mumbai
I finally got a chance to dip my ears on Java (koi kuch na boley :D): *"If the Indian side let English side to score more than 400 runs, they might be in trouble".
*Score = 367/8. What an irony.
