Agreed Asad should have been played as a middle order batsman in tests, better than kachra like Shoaib Malik and Farhat. Him, Azhar (though I w'd still prefer Younis over Azhar at 1-down in tests) Yousuf and Umar Akmal w'd form a decent middle order. The opening pair is still a worry though

yeah, dats bad.. but Asad's strike rate was also 67 when he got out after making 40 runs.. :\
