3rd ODI India VS England 3rd April 2006 @ Goa

Re: 3rd ODI India VS England 3rd April 2006 @ Goa

I think for the first time India dominated the game with both bat and ball ( except for the collingwood-jones partnership) and deserved to win

I guess all India needs to do is throw Kaif out and bring some other batsman into the team.

All in all, it is extremely pleasing to see that India performed brilliantly in all sectors of cricket. Today was their day to shine (three ocassions in a row), and they certainly took that under consideration. The batting and bowling both have exceled from the previous two games, and they thoroughly deserved to win this game as well. Even the likes of Agarkar and Harbhajan are chirping in with the wickets now.

Re: 3rd ODI India VS England 3rd April 2006 @ Goa

Now a days OneDay a team has three batting phases,,, top order upto 2down, middle order upt to 5 down and than lower order...
India should take heart that despite top order consistently failing middle and lower batting order have been pulling them out of trouble......... consistently...

Re: 3rd ODI India VS England 3rd April 2006 @ Goa

think of it today, we still had Dhoni, Pawar, and Harbhanzan pending....... :-)
With Agarkar, Agar Kar jaye mode.....

Re: 3rd ODI India VS England 3rd April 2006 @ Goa

Congrats to India on making it a 3-0  Eng may win 1-2 games at best from here on, so a 6-1 or 5-2 is on the cards. Big improvements in India’s ODI strength!

Re: 3rd ODI India VS England 3rd April 2006 @ Goa

As I had predicted before the match - Agarkar with those 2 wickets is set for next 2 series.

haha

Re: 3rd ODI India VS England 3rd April 2006 @ Goa

News is that Gambhir has been dropped and Robin Uthappa has been brough in @ his place. This is the only change in Indian team for the rest of series. I liked it. I would have liked to see Agarkar sit out too.. But… :smack:

Did some one say throw Kaif out...

Lol

That guy is a fighter, and Chappell's gonna back him..

And anyone who thinks Kaif is a goner by now, tell you what, Get ready...
