Zimbabwe shouldn't be dissappointed, all the blame for the last couple overs should go to that Ervin, what was that guy doing, Heath Streak should have come out instead of sending Ervin. Alot of dot balls, poor Flower was deprived of playing and that idiot Ervin was missing all the chances, Zimbabwe could have won but India can came out on top.

Thats is what I always advice to Our Pakistani friends here.Dont speak before the times comes. have you seen worlds best batting side..they can make 288/5 ,even if they are 87/5.

Don't get to jumpy there, you are proud as if you scored those runs. India played well but lets see how they put against Srilanka, Australia and South Africa, for months India were playing average sides like England and a beaten up Lankans.

by they way I just want to discuss one more thing. Everyone is saying that IND-ZIM-ENG group is “death group” or “most hard” group. Agree but what i think this makes the group quite open which is good for the teams. If any team lost the first match it still have the chances to qualify for the semis. Suppose Zim beats ENG by big margin and ENG beats IND with not so big margin. ZIM will qualify for SEMIS despite loosing first match.
This sanario has V LITTLE possibality in any other group. What do you guys think ?

A very good match. Congratulations to India, tough luck Zimbabwe. I think the turning point was when one of the Flower brothers got run out. That put the match firmly in India's camp, otherwise it was quite possible that Zimbabwe might have made it.
India came back very strongly from being five wickets down cheaply, but they will need to show much better batting performance if they are to beat other teams in this tournament. Their bowling was the weak link again today. The strategy of packing the side with bastmen and playing four bolwers might not work against teams like SA and Australia.
