If they have accepted Islam and they have understood it. They will know all about Jihad. I'm sure they will understand their obligations to protect the Iraqi Muslims against non-muslim invaders.
Do you agree?
(If I was soldier in the British Army, I wouldn't participate in the invasion of a Muslim land)

No one questions, why only troops going to Iraq are accepting Islam, and why not some more? And once they are Muslim, what will they do their in favor of their new brothers Muslim Iraqis? These new Muslim troops must fight against America?
I laugh when I read so many self praising posts for a reason that Iraq going foreigners accept Islam before entering their.
Muslims do no attack women in war, I have my reservations, because in terror attacks theory says something else.
Someone is challenging if islam is spread thru sword.
Are you sure that these Korean soldiers in fact became Muslims because they are not afraid of knives shown for beheading some Italians.
Some Korean troops have accepted Islam, there is no need to make it a religious challenge.

Hmmm someone's feeling insecure :D

Muslim soldiers must prove who's side they're on.
anjjan, PakDragon.. Those Korean soldiers are going to Iraq to help the people there, not the Americans. Those who are now Muslim, I'm sure, will do their best to provide safety and prosperity to their newfound brothers and sisters. Simply being in an Army does not reduce everything to black & white, us vs them simplicity. To do that is just as bad as the people you criticize (Bush).
Anyway, who the hell are you to prescribe which actions are necessary for anyone?? Simply because these men are now Muslims and you were a Muslim all your life doesn't give you the right to feel superior or dictate their behavior. They will do well following the path of God. Some others could do well following it themselves rather than trying to question it and preach it.
That is great! Wish them the best!!

It will provoke a retalliatory response.
Muslims are the only people in modern times who are not allowed to defend their lands. But everyone else has the right to launch 'pre-emptive strikes'.
While muslims are buisy debating whether Jihad to defend Muslim Lands is right or wrong, the non-muslims have already grabbed two muslim countries and are buisy plundering them.

You couldn't have said it better. You totally annihilate 2 countries and then you cry about a few people getting their heads chopped off? Or do you beleive somehow American blood is superior to those being killed. Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. People will retaliate as best they can.
"preetpive strikes’ also saved muslims from ethnic cleasing in Kosovo. If you feel so strongly about this…go to Sudan and save the dying muslims (yes, yes, I know they are black) from the arabs who are hell bent on killing each and everyone of them. Hypocrits..to the first order. ![]()
Arabs killing Africans LOL. Last time I checked Africa was going through the largest famine ever and Saudi Arabia had contributed millions of dollars of food and aid.
Saved from ethnic cleansing huh, so what do you think is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan? Charlatans to the first order ![]()
PS. I have no idea what preetpives are.

This is actually a question and not a statement, and thus the crux of the debate. Mr Al Zarqawi definitely disagrees with you on this point, going by his speech yesterday.
^ If they embraced Islam genuinely, I doubt they'll be helping the Americans anytime soon.

There are plenty of muslims in US/UK armies too and many of them are fighting in Iraq as well. So, I guess not all of them agree to your thougth-process. Why should these Koreans be any different?
I don't think it was a war against Islam per se( correct me if I am wrong) and i don't understand why do we have to invoke religion in all political matters....

No they don't agree. However, I would hardly call them Muslims.
Umm, religion drives politics. And why it’s a war against Islam, maybe because they practically vanquished and invaded a country on the basis that the religion is what is threatening them, yeah right ![]()
Not to mention they destroyed all the culutral/historical treasures that existed.

Islam is political in its nature is it not. Islam has say on every issue in life affairs such as economics and education to foriegn policy and also it has say in spiritual matters for such as the nimaz and hajj for example.
