Hamburger Macaroni Casserole
Boil 1 lb elbow macaroni till al-dente. Run cold water over them. Brown 1 lb ground beef in deep casserole pot with minced onions and peppers (about 1/4 cup each), drain fat. Add 1 16-oz can of chopped tomatoes and 1/2 to 1 cup beef broth. Add elbow macaroni and stir well. Allow the mixture to come to a simmer and then top with grated cheddar cheese. Put lid on pot and allow cheese to melt.
