If India get a mammoth score - which they should now - India may be batting last on this pitch ( Assume that Pak followon ) tell you this game has a long way to go .... just hold on everyone - miracles can and do happen !

Well if they go on to make a big one then even that miracle can helps us DRAW that match, i don't see any chance of winning with these bowlers.

Not expecting much from Ganguly, but once we get two wickets the pace will be much slower and Laxman alone will not be able to carry the innings.
And ehsan bhai, Afridi will atleast make 10 our Salman Butt could not even make that, and better yet he does not even know how to hold a bat.

let me bring some sanity into this whole india v/s pak argument, arrarently ever-prevalent in this forum since this series started. Here is the deal.
From uptill 1985 to 2001 pak has a superior team (in contrast to the indian team). Where on hand pakistani bowling attacks was one of the best (if not the best) in the world, indian bowling attack lagged far behind and there was always much to be desired of it. The batting attacks over these years were more or less evenly matched (pakistanis had their anwars, inzis and youhanas and indias had their sachins, dravids and gangulys). Obviuosly pakistan were favourites when they played india over this stretch and they lived upto the reputation by winning 70 % of the time (Reference Cricinfo's superb stats encyclopedia). Therefore pakistani fans were happy and india fans, although they were not happy were also not extremely bothered since they kina expeected this.
Things are a bit different now. Pakistani team is going thorugh a testy transition. The bowling is the comparitively weak and batting depends a great deal on inzi and yousaf. India seems to have a stronger team and therefore Indian supporters expect the tables to turn, they expect the results of indopak encounters to be the complete opposite of what they were in the 90s. But its not happening. Pakistan stills seems own india in the odi version of the game. The test matches are very close (of the 4 indopak tests since inception of the millenium india has one 2 pak has won 1 and 1 has been a draw). Its easy to see why the indian fans are pissed. To the indian fans I would say: get pissed guys, you have every reason to, critique you team, and dont keep hanging onto how great sachin is. In pakistan we dont hang onto such no-good laurels. When are palyers perfrom we praise them, when they dont we criticize them. Maybe you sould do the same. You guys have a good team and it has done decent, but it needs to do more. In the words of your own coach: it lacks the killer instinct of the pakistani team of the 90s.

I am not defending Salman, but replacing one failure with another is hardly a brilliant move. Afridi is a good ODI player at number 6 or 7 and that is how we should use him. As an opener.
