It is good that they manage to cross 350 mark, there were times in Pakistan cricket when crossing 250 use to be a challenge

I’m glad we’ll have full 5 days of cricket even if it means entering into the danger zone 
inshaAllah we can still win this. NZ has to push for a win so both teams will get to bat for approximately the same amount of time. They will bat and give Pakistan the whole day to bat on day 5 even if we don’t them out tomorrow. And if we do, even better. Go Pak Go!

Again a classic lesson on how a BAD BAD umpiring decision can cause one side to loose the advantage and pass it on to the other side.
YK being given out caught at short leg which in fact came off his pads, caused the terrible lower order collapse and increased pressure on Misbah to miss out on his well earned 100. Waqar and intikhab should go and have a chat with the referee and express their dissatisfaction just for the records.
So now, Pakistan bowlers would really need to deliver once more to restrict NZ to a low 2nd innings total to make sure its at least a draw if not a win for Pakistan.

Given the number of umpiring howlers so far, the Test at the Basin Reserve has been a painful exercise in proving just how much Test cricket needs the UDRS. Seven bad umpiring decisions had been made by stumps at day three and perhaps the cruelest of them was Younis Khan's dismissal on the stroke of tea. Younis came forward to a Vettori arm ball and failed to get bat on ball. The ball struck his pad and popped up to Jesse Ryder at short-leg, and almost before Younis had had time to look up, he had been given out. Pakistan, who had cruised for most of the day towards a handy first-innings lead, lost their remaining six wickets for 90 runs.

10.2 Umar Gul to McCullum, FOUR, that is actually dropped at backward point, Rehman lost sight of the hard cut to a ball outside off and only got fingertips to it as it raced to the fence

19.1 Abdur Rehman to McCullum, no run, dropped by silly mid-off, it was on off and he had to reach to block and for some reason opened the face and it went straight in and straight out, the kind of catch that a close-in fielder must take
with that hope fades
