great news, even though I was slightly disappointed not to have won this test, but I suppose those three early wickets made the difference and both Misbah and Younis knew that if they fell early on Pakistan could well have lost the match.

been waiting for this news for a long time.

I’m also happy about the way we played, it showed a lot of character and determination. It’s not all about winning, and maybe inshaAllah one day we can confidently go onto win in similar situations .. Go Pak Go :hula:

I was hoping they would try to win but then as others mentioned that loss of 3 quick wickets made the difference and they fell back on plan B (play for draw), atleast with that we won the test series :jhanda:

Apart from a very good batting display, I was a bit disappointed with the results, they could have very very easily win this match. Not sure why did they take so defensive approach with so many wickets at hand. And they were soo close, could have planned and executed very well.

If it was captain's decision, then I would not think misbah should be given captaincy for worldcup. A captain has to be daring and should be able to take risks and win matches. That could be very comfortable 2-0 series victory.
