Umar Gul to Guptill, no run, ooh what was that? Guptill was beaten by an excellent delivery outside off which made him play, there was a noise through to the keeper and they all went up but not out was the call, replays show a big nick on that from Guptill, start UDRS arguments all over again I guess
I found it funny… the ball drops just before rope, gets a bounce and drops dead.
15.5 Abdur Rehman to Taylor, 4 runs, there we go, Taylor heaves it to leg and oh dear, the ball completely plugs inches from the rope at long-on and they are forced to run four
Tanvir bowled pathetically, looks like Ehtesham ud din from 80s
He bowled 4 overs into a pretty stiff breeze. Give him a break. He has done well in the couple of tests he has played in so far and outshone other pacers. You are jumping the gun a bit too quickly.
So again, late order fight from Kiwis...plus green shirts finding it hard to deal with the strong winds except Abdur Rehman who it seems bowled 24 overs from the scoreboard end.
Anyhow I think Kiwis did well to resist and get to 246/6 with help of umpires. Hopefully can wipe of the last 4 wickets in 20-30 runs and then go about their 1st inning more confidently.
^^ ICC mostly makes bad decisions....they won't foot the bill for UDRS, they want the TV coverage and media companies to take the hit....not gonna happen....
