In retrospect I think the strategy for the Indian team should have been to treat this innings as that of a one day match. Tendulkar/Ganguly etc should have played their shots freely. No point in holding the wicket for long when you know you are going to get out eventually on this type of wicket. That way India could have ended with a bigger total than they would now. I only hope they get to 150.. good for pshycological reasons too...

But time is not important here.
Advantage for India is that they will get to bowl in the ecening today and again take davantage of morning dew.3-4 wickets here and there and it can change the complexion.

Its easy to say that while sitting here while u watch and observ. Maybe they were thinking for a draw thats why they were playing defensive and as you suggested if they had played it like a one day game u never know it could have worst than this for example look at sehwag 4 4 2 4 W.

Or it could be the other way around, 10 - 12 boundries and indian bowlers come under preasure match finishes with 2-0 :)

Atleast Sehwag scored 24. Had he played that over defensively he would have probably got out for 2 or 3. That is exactly the kind of batting strategy I am talking about.

No I am not but I think u r and u r proving me right, just go to page 1 and look what I have posted. I thought today is the 2nd last day so keeping that in mind one could easily think of drawing the match but then you corrected me by saying there are 2 days left....muna u do sound dumb don't u :)
