Is sehwag really as good as we have made him look? Just looking at the way in which we have bowled to him, Shoaib and Sami have generally failed to bowl straight enough and Gul having come on immediately got him with some accuracy and seam. Some of the commentators have been pouring scorn on the field settings which have seen Sehwag consistently hitting the ball high and catchable to 3rd man for 6. Steve Fleming the NZ captain not surprisingly had a man in that position from the first ball when they played India.
Sehwag is a good player but my opinion is that we have not bowled with any plan to him at all. Inzi when asked if he had a plan to bowl to Sehwag answered 'yes'. Gavakar also surprised that none of the bowlers tried to get the lifting delivery at Sehwag's body.
