One of the biggest reasons would be Kumble's upcoming 500 Test Wickets milestone (as well as inducting more confidence in Chawla). The opportunity will die once he will take that new ball, since it will be in the hands of Pathan and SreeSanth to send the batsman back to the pavilion, and considering the possibility of the lights......
