I personally think Afridi is the worst player of spin in Pakistan’s batting lineup, always got out to quality spinners. 
At least in the years gone by. His optimal strength remains medium fast bowlers who he can hit out the ground, or smack to the boundary for fours. You can say he is the best in this very lineup, maybe he is. But for my money it’s still Malik - when he is himself, and in form.
Go and look out how many times Afridi mistimed and played without a clue against top spinners of the world. You’ll be surprised. I’m not saying Afridi can’t play spin, he can. It’s just that he is not as comfortable against spinners, as he is against fast(er) bowlers.
