As much as I like cricket and consider this to be the most important match Pakistani and Indian teams would play this year, I still feel this has been blown much out of proportions by both Pakistani and Indian media and specially hate the attention being given to non-cricketing aspects of this match!!!

India held the biggest celebration when they defeated Pakistan in 1996. We have have have have to defeat India.

The way i look at it is people are less concerned about their own country winning. they are more happy about the prospects about the other team losing.

I want India to win this one and the world cup. IF we dont then... well i will be sad for sure but life wont stop here. Last time whole India was this excited was when Saina Nehwal was playing the Badminto finals of the last game in common wealth games against the top seed. If she won then India would have total 100 medals, one more gold would have put India in the second spot and would also have surpassed our previous highest gold medal count. It was a close match and she came back from behind to win the finals.

I hope we can repeat the performance again.
