Re: 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v India at Mohali, Wed March 30
I have strong suspicions about Pakistan losing deliberately the semi final to India for some fake political gains/reconciliations etc...so many politicians phoning Afridi...why they have not phoned in other matches...
We...the observers are fools...they take it for granted...
PS: The era of dotballs players in the short formats is over!

^ ofcourse if India had lost the semi you would have said Indians are a wiley bunch - they made a deal with Gilani so they let Pak win in cricket and they win in politics, right?

I don't know about you guys but i couldn't even sleep. Woke up after 2 hours, having this weird feeling now. Man, i wish they didn't choke. So many foolish shots, and i can't figure out what Misbah was trying to do by blocking all those balls.
Re: 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v India at Mohali, Wed March 30
india did play well, "luck" isn't enough to beat the pakistani side by 29 runs in a high pressure game, unless you think they are some minnows...
India fielded quite well, bowled in all the right areas, but the batting was way below par. Even with our disaster fielding and catch drops, the total was very gettable.
Re: 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v India at Mohali, Wed March 30
The match was a lot less stressful than the 96 match in Bangalore. The bitterness and hate seemed to have been sucked out of it. 96 was like a war. This was just like a cricket match.

Dude there is a difference when a jealous person calls his rival idiot and when your friend calls you one. Afridi did very well today but he makes a lot of mistakes, he is not a good tactician.
Tactician or not, I do not have any respect for Afridi. He's a cheat. I know you guys love him but ethics come before anything else. But yes, he's a fighter and has charisma, I'll give him that.

By the way, I just don’t buy this whole notion “had we caught tendulkar first time, india would have scored less than 200”…I mean there are a lot of probabilistic scenarios that we don’t know…. we are assuming that everything else would have occurred the exact same way as it occurred in the real time scenario…but the chain reaction of tendulkar’s earlier dismissal could very well be totally different….for instance hypothetically speaking, a totally plausible scenario can be discussed that had tendulkar dismissed cheaply in 4th or 5th over, yuraj or kohli might have played a longer innings because they would have come to bat earlier in the innings when the ball was coming on the bat really nicely and hence it was easier to establish an innings (relatively speaking)….in both innings first 15 overs were easy to bat and a hell thereafter as the ball got older…blah blah blah….. many other scenarios could have emerged from tendulkar's earlier dismissal and in the end india may have ended up scoring 260 or even more (or may be 200...we never know) but you get the point…
now what I do agree is the fact that tendulkar's innings was horrible and did not deserve the MOM award....he did not apply himself at all....even ganguly said that he has never seen tendu playing such soft shots...riaz totally deserved the MOM award for his heroic efforts...

Congrats to Indian fans, our team just couldn't carry on from where they left in QF, probably not hungry enough.
not hungry enough? oh bhai sahib, some of our players were reportedly eating at least 6 paraths every morning...they were really hungry...hw can you say they were not hungry?
