Mohammed Shami to Smith, FOUR, low full toss, Smith shuffles across, plays with a closed face, beats short fine leg. For a moment Shami thinks lbw is in busines

32.5
Mohammed Shami to Smith, SIX, length ball, angling in, he clears the front leg, and slogs this over midwicket for a six. Smith is slowly hitting that next gear

32.6
Mohammed Shami to Smith, FOUR, and there is the hundred. Poor bowling. Short ball, waist high. Bouncers get wickets. Just short balls don't. He drags this pull from outside off, beats short fine leg. Removes the helmet. Celebrates the hundreds. Keeps in with the tradition of Aussie Nos 3 standing up tall in big matches

Sharma to Finch, SIX, India continue bowling short with no meanness or intent behind the balls. Finch makes room, upper-cuts it, and sends it over point for six. This could just be the turning point in this Finch innings

This kind of bowling, if opponent don't hit a boundary then what should they do?

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

280 shouldn't be a challenging score for Indian Batting on Sydney ground...

it is Pakistan who struggles to chase anything above 230... since when Indians got this virus?

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Pappu bacha Mohit trying to pull Wahab on Smith/Finch and getting smash all over the park. Can't bowl proper bouncer or yorker.

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Aussies taking Power play at the right time, great batting :)

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Its clearly looking like a 340+ to me. However, if India played like they have in last 6 games in WC, they can chase 340 on this pitch.

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

why Indians bowlers are offering boundaries????

can't they keep it simple...

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Anand: "The next hour or so is going to be a nightmare for India fans...I'm glad am at office and not at home watching this on TV! Small mercies..."

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

oops Smith goes

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

my comment of 280 had a condition... dot balls... and wickets... not boundary balls...

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

i did not say that it would be difficult for Indians to chase 280. I wrote that if Aus give them that as target than Indian would be happy.

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

They probably found out what Wahab Riaz eats for breakfast.

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

ooh..Maxwell is in instead of Clarke... should be interesting..

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Finally a wicket, hopefully it is not too little too late...

Smith gone and he had to go anyway, ... india need to take at least two more wickets and leak no more than 25 runs in this power play....

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Below 200 in 35th over is not bad.

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

get maxwell out otherwise 400 is in sight;..

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

This is a slow wicket, so will not be easy for Johnson and Starc.

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Umesh needs glasses to see where the wickets are

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

Ommmmmmmmmmmm

Re: 2nd Semi-Final - Aus v v Ind, 26 March 2015

with only two wickets down and 15 overs to go with some pinch hitters in the middle can be dangerous... India need to keep their nervous, they can still restrict them under 300... but with this kind of bowling

Yadav to Maxwell, FOUR, four first ball for Maxwell. Length ball, into the pads, flicked away, square of fine leg. Easy pickings first up
