A comfortable win for Australia. 329 was always going to a tough target in a KO game

Dhawan and Rohit started well for India reaching 73 for none after 12 overs. Then after doing all the hard work, Dhawan gave it away and holed out. There was no need for that aerial shot at that stage. They were milking 5 to 7 runs an over and just needed to bat sensibly for another 10-15 overs. Despite the solid start it was disappointing batting by the rest. Kohli played a really poor shot. 4 wickets went down in quick succession and the writing was on the wall.

A one-sided game in the end

Kohli took 13.ball to get one run. Smith came in and got going.
Rahane at one time was 24 off 48 or 25 off 50 balls.
Dhoni run out was underestimating opposition. Whereas off Ashwin bowling the drive hit Ashwin hand and went to nonnstriker stumps. I think it was Finch. He had bat in correct hand. And got back on time. That’s the difference. Paying attention to details.

Kohli had 3 stumps to aim at. And missed. Dhoni was.ambling towards stumps. And didn’t get there on time. All Indian run outs - fielder aimed at one stump. And hit. Practice. Loads of practice.
