From the tone of yoru post, it sounds that you are suggesting to drop him. I agree that his performance has been way below par and can be attributed to lack of confidence, however, with World Cup approaching in just 6 months, and Moin and Latif retired, I don't think 'dropping him' is going to help. He's done well for over a year and we know that he IS a good keeper. We just need to reassure him by doing exactly the opposite, i.e., not dropping him and helping him regain his confidence.

English team was once again bullied by Pakistan pace attack in this match just like we saw in the first ODI.
The result of the test series could have been totally different in presence of Asif, Shoaib and Rana.

For Pakistan to win, we need to bat at least 20 overs and be ahead on D/L rating. (Assuming full 40 overs aren't bowled)

Drop Rana's name. I would prefer Umar Gul over him as for being in form. Rana's result "Gave 36 runs in 6 overs". Plus Rana is not a test bowler.

Actually it's the ABSENCE of SAMI rather than the presence of Asif, Shoaib, Rana that has made all the difference.
