great start by NZ. they have played very nicely so far. Pak has been unable to disturb the opening start unlike they have done in the past. Lets hope fortunes change after the rain inshallah !

Seem like Kiwis kept the weather in mind and played smart. They put 44 runs on board in 6.2 overs and still have 13.4 overs in hand, and whole team batting is intact.
Coming out after rain with opening batsmen is a good thing for them. Hope Pakistan get back in with few quick wickets especially Taylor Ross and Fulton.

**Pakistan win if there is no play
CAPE TOWN: In case of rain or no play today, Pakistan will be declared the winners as they have got a better record to that of New Zealand in the tournament so far. The rules say that in case of no play or rain, Pakistan will be declared the winners as they have won more matches on their way to semis. There would be no bowl-out in case of no play. In the other semi to be played in Durban, Australia having a better record will be declared the winners against India in case of no play. —AMS
