Now, please explain to me why there were 8.5 Million voters out of 11 Million eligible in the recent Iraq elections. Car bombs blowing up, snipers trying to wipe them out, and still eight million people turn out. Sounds to me like Iraqis very much want a voice in thier government. They did not go to the polls because Americans were paying thier wages.

We’ve seen this mambo jambo in South Vietnam too in 1968 when elections were going on and so were the bombs but 6 exactly months later the Americans decided to kill the South Vietnamese too because they were not that important any longer. But that’s an another story.

You talking about the elections as if there were some independent election observers to call it fair and square… if the Americans can’t walk on the streets without fear, if the American President can only pay a secret visit like a coward and if the Iraqi people don’t even know who they’re voting due to no names on the ballet papers, you call this democracy or load of rubbish? The little that turned up, turned up at the barrel of the gun… most of the media just showed a handfull of polling stations due to total limit by the Americans. So I advise you to take your head out of your backside and face the reality for a change.
