Frankly, at the point of a gun 57% is damn fine turnout. And pray tell, explain your quote above? As far as I know, no one in the Muslim world did squat for the Shia in Iraq. Today they are the majority party, running the country. I guess this lends new meaning to "What have you done for me lately" eh? Now, educate me on "all those years we supported" Saddam. Iran was and is an enemy. And Liars? Does ANYBODY believe that Iran is building a "peaceful" nuclear program because they are gonna run out of oil? Yup, sure. You want to talk about tainted elections? Iran decertifies 2500 candidates from elections because they are reformers and don't please the mullahs. Now there is an election problem, and not a peep of protest in the Muslim world about casting out a huge block of candidates. Nobody noticed, nobody cared. More rigged elections to insure tyranny.
