While you are right, different conditions different story. They were playing at home there, now they are playing in the sub continent, where a few months ago they also lost a series to Bangladesh.

agreed but in my opinion it should not be the justification for international cricketers’ to rely on. (Though we give the very justifications for our own cricketers often).

Fact is that Pakistan and NZ were the two teams of similar calibre and yet NZ lost on their home ground. I would say that Pakistan has improved and is certainly a competitive side, if not dangerous, for sure. If we won the T20 WC, we should be eyeing for this WC too
