Because they need to tell the world how good they are, yet they choke when it matters the most. They are a bunch of arrogant shmucks (with no justification for their arrogance) who deserve the thrashing they are getting. Aussies don't tell you how good they are; they just eat you up and spit you out.
They are not that bad side man, they were the No.1 side just before the start of the WC. Chokers or not, they are much better side than India & Pakistan.

They suck. India and Pakistan have both been World Cup winners. The South Africans are born chokers, and the only reason they were number 1 was that the Aussies decide to rest a few of their players in the matches just before the start of the World Cup.

south africa was also banned until 1992 from participating in world cup
and in 1992, they had that bizarre rain delay which stopped them from going to finals
and india hasnt won the world cup in 25 years, so r they chockers as well?

India reached the Final in 2003. SA have never been in a WC final
this is their third WC semifinal and third defeat (barring rain today)

I see the intensity and aggression with which McGrath and Tait are bowling...and then I picture our own Agarkar bowling.....such a CONTRAST.
