Going through the rosy details being painted about this trip, it is obvious that at the end of the day, we basically have couple of dozen MOUs, which PML-N is advertising as contracts.
I can see something happening in the power sector somewhere down the line, because theres a ton of money in that business for the power producers (just look at our IPPs....getting paid for nothing), but other than that, this trip is primarily a feel good trip for PML-N.

Instead of China, Pakistan should be looking at South Korea for help in railways and metro system.
The Indian government used South Korean companies to develop the Delhi metro and it is a world class system now.

I thought the french were consulted, at least for the delhi subway system. Regardless, from what friends tell me, the system is already falling apart there.

They did talked about projects all over Pakistan. From Karachi to Lahore, Kashghar - Gawadar (which will also benefit KP).
