Re: 25,000 civilians killed in Iraq since US invasion
Dear Fellow Guppies,
Is my thinking that using the death of even one Iraqi civilian as fodder in the debate for.... or against....coalition forces or Saddam's regime distasteful.
Re: 25,000 civilians killed in Iraq since US invasion
Ok, the fight among Iraqi groups may continue, but the death toll will be much less if Americans leave.
Americans must accept the mistake and run away from Iraq, as Indians did in Shrilanka fiasco.
Or otherwise let us enjoy another show re Vietnam. America will get petrol for blood, off course.
Re: 25,000 civilians killed in Iraq since US invasion
Dear anjjan,
Americans are not heartless.
For example..
Private charities and non-profit organizations in the United States have collected more than $1.109 billion for tsunami relief, according to figures compiled by Indiana University's Center for Philanthropy.
Perhaps ^ is not example of mourning.
But is an example of caring. Of wanting to help.
Believe it or not...
On occasion I have actually given a thought toward the Iraqi people and what life would be like in their shoes.
I can only imagine.
I'm sure what I imagine isn't nearly as hard as what they face day to day.
I think about the parents trying to raise their kids. I think about the kids.
I wonder if I lived in a war zone if I would be able to find any joy or beauty in life.
Re: 25,000 civilians killed in Iraq since US invasion
AAG you make good point instead of contemplating the actions people are just making excuses of its only 9000 or 10000 that we killed really hmmm, its really ridicuolous that people stoop to that level it just shows all they want to do is justify there actions and the actual loss of life is insignificant to them.
Re: 25,000 civilians killed in Iraq since US invasion
My dear AAG, your Bush and co. is letting your soldiers die for petroland only for petrol. Do you accept this fact?
If Iraqis are being killed, he damn cares.
