Oh Come on guys accept it, Pak lost a very good match, both teams played very well. At least the team did not play like the one in Kenya, who played like morons. Losing a match like this is no shame, it could have gone either way. Hopefully India can now go all the way, so at least the subontinent is represented there, and one more thing at least the Indian government will now not ban their team from playing Pak at hockey at least. :D:
Many Many congratulation to India. The ladies did well :)
I hope the polticians come to their senses and start the hockey test series again between the two countries. On current display, the only losers in lack of competition between the two countries are the fans.

Thank God, you guys won't blame Inzi for defeat :)
No...that will depends on how pakistan does against AUS and how India does against Korea.
Round Robin (P-W-D-L: Pts)
1. Germany (3-3-0-0: 9)
2. Netherlands (3-2-1-0: 7)
3. India (4-2-1-1: 7)
4. Pakistan (4-1-0-3: 3)
5. Korea (3-1-0-2: 3)
6. Australia (3-0-0-3: 0)

Based on curent form tomorrow Germany and Netherland should beat Australia and Korea. Then if Pakistan beats Australia and India beats Korea, they will meet again for the third place.

Could be a very good return match.

Mr. Ehsan please forgive me for my lack of knowledge.
Let us say that India loses and Pakistan wins. Then the final tally will be India Seven Points and Pakistan Six Points. With this point difference why should there be a Play-Off for the ''Third Place''.
If India also wins, as you say, then the Tally will be India Ten Points and Pakistan Six Points. Does there Have to be a Play-Off even if there is a Points Difference.

Mr. Surti the points in the final analysis will not matter.
The teams in first and second place will play for the gold, the loser getting the silver.
the teams in the third and fourth place will play for hte bronze. So if we take your scenario and say India has 10 points and Pakistan 6, they will play for the bronze i.e. the third place and say pakistan wins, then they will take the bronze, not India, regardless of the points.

Mr. Ehsan - Many thanks for your reply.
May the best team win - India for my sake and Pakistan for yours.
Unfortunatlkey, this scenario really seem unfair, especially if all the teams have played each other and the team positions are based on their performance points having played all the teams.
Although I support Pakistan, if a team finishes 4 points ahead of them and then loses in a one off game, then it indeed does seem unfair. If India does finsish 4 points ahead and pakistan beats India to get the bronze, then I will genuinly feel sorry for the Indians, as overall India would have been the better team in the tournament.

The above post proves the point that just because you are Pro or Support Pakistan so you must be Anti-India is not valid.
Instead of being Anti This That and the Other Let us be Pro our team and God take the rest
