England need 293 to beat Netherlands. Well, England have caught the Dutch disease again. Ryan ten Doeschate was magnificent, as inspirationally brilliant as England were dreadful. The fielding was shabby, the bowling all over the place but it was the pressure Netherlands put on them that backed them into that corner. Incredible stuff, coming into the tournament England would have though of themselves as the best fielding unit in the world but this display was the worst I've seen in years. Andrew Miller is as disgusted with England as he is impressed with Netherlands and his bulletin, which will be ready shortly, will be well worth a read. We'll be back in 30mins for the chase, and it should be a humdinger. Can't imagine what the discussion in the England dressing room sounds like.

another boring one sided match is about to commence, so far this is the worst world cup ever, having three countries involved, extra ordinary long schedules and boring one sided matches... a home or tri nation series would have been lot more productive in terms of interest
