22 Hizbut Tahrir men held while holding meeting in Bangladesh

Re: 22 Hizbut Tahrir men held while holding meeting in Bangladesh

Two things:

First I know a number of people who were brainwashed into joining the organisation and who then subsequently left it when they realised it had nothing to do with Islam or common sense.

secondly, you do agree that its workings are secret. Hmmmmm wonder why? what are you people trying to hide? What are you scared of? Put your party to the test and lets see how many will vote for you. What is scaring your party?

Re: 22 Hizbut Tahrir men held while holding meeting in Bangladesh

Many people join organisations are you saying that they were brainwashed?
Also you say they left when they found out it was not Islamic or based on common sense, so why did they join, and what does that tell you about those people?

Also cannot not be said that ex members of any party can be guilty of sour grapes?

Every party has rules and regulations, and members of the Hizb can be seen in public and a few years ago the results of the election of the Executive commitee was published.

Ehsan...
You may have the issues with the Hizb but arent those issues more to do with their execution of ideas rather than their core ideas...

Personally i feel their ideas are quite good...the solution to the problems we face is lack of an Islamic state etc...however what i notice in the West is that they lack a lot of direction...they serve no real purpose in the UK and i find they arent particularly clear about what they are here to do...

The work they do abroad though is significantly better i assume...i can respect brothers who stop talking about moving to the Middle East and Pakistan to do dawah and actually do it...these brothers are more sincere and more committed to the cause...for a lot of people in the UK i feel its a social thing to be part of an organisation and a bit of an 'im bad' thing for some of the youths that join...

Try not to discount those who actually do risk their lives abroad to spread Islam...

Showkat...
Lol one thing i know about the hizb in the UK is their gross exaggerations of what was going on abroad...you suggest the Hizb is the most feared group in Bangladesh...ill happily disagree with you there...you lot always exxagerate your importance...i remember atleast 4 years ago...you lot talking about how Pakistan was majal and could become an Islamic state any minute when the reality was barely anyone had heard of you...im not discounting the work that is done abroad but i will say you arent as feared as you lot think...

I remember one brother telling me that they dont mention the hizb in western literature cos they are they are afraid to mention such an effective party...what bull****...the only place you are bigtime at the moment is Uzbekistan...dont try and beg Bangladesh and Pakistan yet...

Re: 22 Hizbut Tahrir men held while holding meeting in Bangladesh

Jzk for your thoughts sister

I never said the Hizb is the most feared party in Bangladesh all i said was that the ideas of the Hizb are feared in Bangladesh by the Secular parties, who are unable to defend their core ideas like Nationalism, Democracy, Secularism.

Re: 22 Hizbut Tahrir men held while holding meeting in Bangladesh

"The Hizb in Bangladesh is the smallest and most recent Islamic party in bangladesh yet they are the most feared by the Secular parties and those who advocate other than Islamic law"

Read that and then tell me you didnt say that the Hizb is the most feared party in Bangladesh...

And btw you are not the only non secular party out there...opposition to secularism has existed since Pakistans existence and with Sayyed Qutb in Egypt...im not suggesting you havent had an effect im simply stating that there are other parties which hold similar ideas and if the general public carries these ideas it isnt solely cos of you...

I respect the ideas of your party but the party itself is severely flawed especially in the West...

Btw im not a sister...
