u guys want a live draft or an autopick?
Autopick will have the conveniance that everyone of us would not have to be present at the time of the draft, and yahoo will pick our players based on how we rank our players.
btw before the draft can begin, ALL of us need to be registered. I notice that underthedome still needs to register his team. So UTD buddy, get ur team registered.

it is soo much more fun picking ur own players rather than getting on the next day and find out u got stuck with some random players u didnt want
plus it says if ur not present it uses ur pre-ranked list to pick ur players, so it's just like Autopick except if ur online at the time then u can pick urself

i just joined a public league yesterday which had a live draft today, just to try it out, and it was reallly tight.
the draft was sooooo fun. it is definitely a must, autopick is nothing compared to it
we gotta do a live draft, and try it set it on a date in which a majority of the managers can be present

Me half an hour early for the draft checking out the rankings. As u can see u can view the players by Yahoo rankings, "My Rankins", Alphabetically, or by bye week.

In this draft I had 5th pick, each of the flags at the top represent a manager and their team.

Here is a pic of the draft scene as it is in session. At the flag area it shows who's pick it is and in which direction the picks r going. You can view the availabe players in ranked order and also in the QB/RB/WR,etc. tabs. Also to the bottom right u can view a chat area where u can make fun of each others' picks or get the update on who picked who. To the right r the players i drafted in pick order but i have them hidden so all of u guys cant steal my picks, cause i ended up with a dream team. :D

The draft automatically closes at the end, and it was a success. I wish really badly that I could end up with the same players i did after this draft in this league. I would definitely whooop arsee. :)

well so what do the rest of the guys think? live draft or autopick?? we have to decide very soon.
MV, if everybody is ok with this, I can create a 12th dummy team with default rankings, until we find a real 12th person.

lussi, go ahead and create the 12th Dummy team. I will like to have MV in the league, just to beat up on a fellow texan will be so much more gratifying...:).

thanks for the feedback guys. I will wait a couple of more days just to give everybody a chance to give their input.
** If I hear otherwise, this upcoming Saturday I will make the league live-draft, and expand our league to 12 teams. MV is going to be our 11th team, and 12th is going to be a dummy untill we find someone else. Again, if you oppose these changes then please let me know (by posting in this thread or pm) by end of Friday Central Time. **

I have also made the league a live-draft. **Our live draft will be held on Saturday August 20th - 7:30 PM PDT. **

As live-draft will run on Java, please make sure that it’ll work on your system as people on AOL etc might have some problems. On the web address I provided above, there is a link to Test Your System. Make sure you do that before the draft begins.
