Yes, I live in Chicago…I buy fabrics from fabrics store..:hehe:..In Chicago, we have many fabric stores on “Devon” ave which is like Jackson Heights of NY…I’m sure there are buotiques in on JH too…Have you checked them out yet? :slight_smile:

I don’t know which site these dresses are from but there are quite number of buotiques online where you can buy designer outfits…

CA: i haven’t particularly liked anything in JH. too many flowery patterns. i was not crazy about the colours either. but i guess i will go hunting again.

cheegum: I try to post pictures from strictly Pakistani fashion being developed by the Fashion Industry in Pakistan so that we outsiders are aware of what is going on inside. Now what reaction you have to those clothes is your business. In some cases, I post with the intention of giving folks some new ideas on things you can do with clothes...in other cases, I try to show how far our counterparts in Pakistan are going to try to be Amrikanized.

I recently wrote a strongly worded letter to the editor of Visage after a certain guppie posted up a very very objectionable picture made in Pakistan. I never got a reply back from her.
