What has this world come to when people going on about there daily lives taking the train to work are blown into a dozen pieces in the name of some group’s political/religious agenda?
Simple humanity is lacking among these animals.

No, I'm saying some are going through great lengths to convince everyone this is not the work of Muslim extremists. Spain can't be lying because they don't know any more at this point than anyone on this board of experts. I can't recall scores of posts from you condemning any other terrorist bombings, unless it can be pinned on "Christian" terrorists or some other non-Muslim entity. Great segue btw to once again, in classic off-topic form to bring up US actions. ;)

In fact if you read from the beginning of the thread you will see at the very outset Spain has been blaming ETA, while others have been going to great lengths to prove it was others. Take a read of the whole thread, and then come back.
Hopefully some kids don’t get the wrong idea by my posting this, but the UN SC passed a condemnation resolution 15-0 earlier today.. blaming ETA.
I’d like to condemn their condemnation cos that’s really friggin stupid to put an allegation like that into writing without having a clue as to its truth.
It’s nice that we trust our friends, but if we’re so damn serious about the War on Terror we oughta at least act like we’re a fair judge.

First of all how dare you call Christian terrorist!!!! Next you will be calling Jewish terrorist.... This is digital blasphemy I hope your kamptoor is smoking and I am sure it is.
Now getting to the gist, I can't recall condemnation of such ferocity by the so called "civilized" when none Muslim groups spills the blood. I am sure you will have no trouble digging out the threads and shutting me up for once.
See I am ishmart I know how to protect my kamptoor from smoking.

Yes, leaders like osama, mullah omar, zia and whoever it is that runs ETA are the most guilty, not just the foolish foot soldiers.
Did anyone see on CNN that thousands of demonstrators came out in basque city to protest against this terrorism.

^^ You are basing your rumors on what? You have done all the investigation yourself.... man you are quick.
Obviously every one is speculating at this point.
The one thing that is certain is that if this is ETA, it represents a radical departure from the past. In the past they have called ahead to avoid civilian casualties, hit symbolic targets, and tried to retain the sympathies of the people while doing damage to the Government.
The new more virulent ETA, if indeed this is what has happened, is choosing to copy the "no one is innocent" approach of AQ. This is indeed a hall mark of AQ, in Bali, Istanbul, and a great number of other operations. Their legacy is metastisizing to everybody with a grievance. At a minimum this is the gift of AQ to the world. Even if they were not responsible for the bombing directly, they are almost certainly responsible as a source of inspiration for more heinous, spectacular and horrific acts.

Apparently it is not important for these demonstrators to be sure whether people claiming to represent them have committed these horrendous murders in their name.
More important to them is immediately dissavowing any legitimacy in this type of terrorism in their name.
Here so much time and energy is spent in making sure we don't rush to judgement, in order to protect who?....AL QUAEDA! A group who has proudly committed similar and far more deadly acts in the last decade.
This twisted allegiance is perhaps the single biggest problem we have in eliminating at least one major source of the world's terrorism.
P.S. This post does not assume al Quaeda was responsible.
Muslims need to do a better job of differentiated themselves from al-Qaida. You see a defense type mentality due to the fact that because aQ calls themselves Muslims and then associate themselves with the majority of Muslims. While in reality the majority of Muslims find such attacks horrific and unacceptable. It is MY judgment that a disassociation between the two has not been created. The fact that al-Qaida claims to be Muslims and then go on to commit such acts of terror in the name of Allah must be condemned by all Muslims and they must stress that these individuals are not part of the Islamic faith nor part of Allah’s teachings. Muslims who create this disassociation with such groups as al-Qaida will help erode the racism and falsified labels that are unjustly put on Muslims throughout the world. Quite simply people are dumb, allowing a minority group to create a label for the majority is a dangerous action and must be combated. Voices must be united in the condemnation of such attacks. Fight those who put the labels upon you but at the same time fight those who created such labels and if you need inspiration just imagine that it is American Gov. who created al-Qaida in order to falsify the Islamic faith, anti-Americanism seem to do well so that should sell without a problem.
And Nadia, if reading this, anti-American not mean disagreeing with the policies of the American government, the fact that someone believes that Bush is a f****** a****** does not mean they are anti-American :)

They claimed responsibility for it didnt they?
another pathetic and horrific move from who ever did it. to kill innocent people in the name of a religion or politics is just not acceptable. worse of all, things just started to get better for muslims in the western countries. God know what will happen to us now.
