Definitely, San Jose is all work and no play. Though its a very livable city. Spread out, so you don’t feel too too congested. Add to it that though it is the 10th largest city in the US, it has the lowest crime rate amongst 50 US cities. Great universities around the place, and San Francisco has great tourist attractions and night life and is only 40 miles away, which is about the same time it takes anyone to get into downtown Chicago from a suburb, or for that matter any major city.

Detroit is one incredibly dull place, esp in winter....may no soul ever have to live there. shivers
