I thought I would go watch it but since the reviews are so bad, I'll sit this one out.
probably a sensible decision, apart from the eye candy the film is without doubt going to be a waste of time.
This film is going to be as lame as the first one(maybe lamer). People who are really into cars cud bear this movie, else it is gonna be just a total waste of time and money. I saw the first one, and it seemed like I was watching some cheap, C grade... Mithun Chakrovarthy flick. Except for Cars and some stunts, the movie was a total disaster.

U should step out of ur closed enviornment & get a life or u can spend ur time on da moon. Its a movie 4 hard cores allrite, & I guess da box office records dont speak wrong....! U should hang out with a racer 2 know what speeds in Xcess of 200kph feel like....!

Like I said, people who love cars can bear this movie. For ppl who don't have a need for speed...this movie is a piece of crap not even worth a look. And even If I was into cars I don't think I wud have liked this movie, coz in a movie I seek a good storyline and good performances, and this movie has none.

Well, u cannot have a very strong romantic or suspense story line 2 a movie which is based on racing.
U can alwayz watch Titanic....!

Yeah, I agree it cudn't be made into a love story, but suspense...yeah, that wasn't far fetched. See.. this movie falls into the genre of a Thriller/Action, and it even puts this genre to shame. I have seen a whole lot better thriller movies than this one.
And thanks for the suggestion, yes.....I know, Titanic is like a zillion times better than this ** thing**, I(and for that matter most ppl) wud prefer watching Titanic over going thru 100 minutes of meaningless, incoherent, dumb ....car racing.
No probs u can alwayz lovvvvvve Di Caprio, but as far as car movies r concerned…they alwayz stay on top. There is a car in every movie, it is incomplete…even Titanic’s xxx scene was filmed in a car…!
Car movies have a different niche al2gether, & as long as there r racers alive, movies like this will be in production.

Yeah, u are blinded by ur love for cars and speed....neways it is one's own choice. I wish every girl finds a guy who has as much dedication and devotion for her as u have for this movie....or shud I say Cars.

Okay well I saw it today and its not too crash hot but that doesn't mean I couldn't sit there and enjoy it. It's got the worst storyline you could ever imagine but the cars are pretty kewl.
Paul Walker drives the most wicked R34 GT-R in it, very kewl. Other kewl cars in it include a Supra, a quick glance at a Dodge Viper and for the Girls there is a real pretty pink "Barbie" style S2000. The cars you see most though are the Mitsubishi Evo VII and Eclipse Spyder with some input from the Dodge Challenger and Yenko Camaro.
Overall, the movie didn't focus as much on the performance of the Cars as I'd have liked, not as many Girls in it but Devon Aoki was totally hot, dude(Ooo Ooo).
With a bad storyline, it was all about the racing but unfortunately at high speeds you don't actually see much of the cars. When the Nos kicks in, all you see is blur and its unrealistic in that respect. I enjoyed it and people should probably check it out but I wouldn't say its a great movie.
Rating: 6.5 out of 10.

I watched it yesterday and I think it was as good as the first part. And that really is a compliment, because usually sequels of successful movies turn out to be crap.
